Upcoming Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show

The Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS) will open its doors from September 28 – October 1 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. As Canada’s largest manufacturing trade show, CMTS boasts more than 3,000,000 lb of manufacturing equipment and over 700 suppliers of business solutions and technologies demonstrating live, working equipment.

CMTS provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers to see new products demonstrated live, learn about the new technologies that back them, and compare technologies side-by-side to see which opportunities best fit their businesses. From September 29-30, the event will also feature the RAPID Canada Conference and Pavilion, a comprehensive forum for the exchange of information related to the advances in additive manufacturing, 3D printing, and 3D scanning.

Last year’s event was attended by more than 8,000 manufacturing professionals looking to source the latest in machine tools, metalworking, tooling, forming, fabricating, 3D printing, automation, and design from suppliers demonstrating more than 200 new products. Advancements throughout these industries and others are partially funded through the Canadian Federal government’s Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) program, which provides tax rebates for costs incurred in the development of new products and processes.
