Multivans Recognized for Manufacturing Success

Here at NorthBridge, we love a good success story.

Yesterday, FedDev Minister Gary Goodyear and Member of Parliament David Tilson visited Bolton, Ontario to recognize the success of a long-standing Canadian Manufacturer. Multivans Inc. has manufactured FRP, aluminium, and refrigerated truck bodies in Canada for over 45 years.

In 2009, Multivans Inc. received $50,000, through the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters’ (CME) SMART Program, to support the purchase of new truck body molds. In 2013, the company received $42,170, through the CME SMART Prosperity Now program, to build and install a proprietary horizontal panel insulation press. Both projects allowed Multivans Inc. to improve the manufacturing process, product quality, plant productivity, delivery times to customers, and reduce labour input.

NorthBridge would like to extend our congratulations to Multivans and thank them for their tremendous service to Canada’s transportation industry.
