Quarterly Operating Profits
Today, Stats Can announced that operating profits in the fourth quarter had risen up 7.9% since the last quarter, to $65.5 billion among Canadian corporations. In the non-financial sector, profits increased a total of 7.3%, to $49.6 billion. Manufacturing itself saw profits increase 15.3%! Source
