In the recent November 2016 Fall Economic Statement, the Province proposed an application deadline for OIDMTC which passed into law on December 8, 2016. To be eligible for the OIDMTC companies must apply by the day that is 18 months after the end of the company’s taxation year during which development of the eligible product(s) was completed. This 18 month application deadline is in effect the day that is six months after November 14, 2016.
